With a fresh page turning from 2013, why not try something a little more invigorating for spring? The work table/wardrobe may need a lift. Blue is photogenic, uplifting and frankly, the most work appropriate colour out there.

The green eyed monster will be in envy of us all, as emerald is the colour of spring 2013! The designers have already had their share, now how about you?

Seeing as even British Vogue have decided to embrace POP, I will too. Not out of the peer pressure, but out of judgement- the clothes do happen to be very familiar with what I remember to be called POP. And so I call on the shoes, lonely as they are, to take the center stage and show they are truly in their place here.

Looking towards the winter season, we see that we need a certain over-exuberance of prints, colours and textures. With beautiful cashmeres, silks and wools, as well as baroque appliqués and jewels glowing like amber, there is no end to this extravagant folly.

When it comes to make up trends, certain colours reappear, season after season. This time though, we are looking at a retrospective- copper has not been on lids or eyes since the eighties, and even then it was not the same as it is here. A reinvention, perhaps?
